Darcee Cooper BSW, MSW, RSW, RCC
My own life journey has deeply shaped how I relate as a counsellor. I know first hand how finding the right counsellor is key and that the relationship itself is an important factor in healing.
I relate to my clients on a human level knowing there is no ‘perfect’ person and I bring my authentic self into the office with clients. I am also known to bring a sense of humour into my work and I tend to laugh at myself and humanity often.
Outside of my private practice I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two small dogs who I adore and when able I get out in nature to refuel and recharge. I am a science fiction/superhero fan and get lost in a great movie or tv series marathon. I also dabble in abstract painting which has been a great stress release over the years.
